Submit Work for an Exhibits

The exhibit, Contemporary Narratives, will be shown from May 11 – Junel 16, 2012, with a public reception Friday, May 11 from 6:00 – 8:00 pm. The exhibit is juried with a prize of $100 for Best of Show as well as two $50 prizes for Honorable Mention.

Each artist is allowed to submit up to three works for a $20 entry fee.  The deadline for receiving applications is April 30. The entrance fee is to be paid when the work is dropped off.  

WCIAC commission on sales:  20% if a member / 25% if a nonmember.

All 2-D work must be ready to hang. The gallery's hanging system uses S-hooks, which the gallery will provide. Please attach a piece of paper to the back of each 2-D work with both the title of the work and name of the artist. Space permitting, all submissions will be displayed.  Any work not making it into the exhibit will be stored and rotated into the gallery as pieces sell.

Please arrange to have the work at the WCI Arts Center on Sunday, May 6 from 4:00 - 5:30 pm. If that is not convenient, please email gallery@wciarts.org to set up an alternative time.

Please note that neither the WCIAC, nor any of its representatives, are responsible for loss or damage of the art.

Work is to be picked up on Sunday, June 17 from 4:00-5:30 pm.
